Lighting

Lighting plays an essential role in the aesthetics and balance of an aquarium. It allows you to observe the fish under good conditions and provides aquatic plants with the energy needed for photosynthesis and their development.

The Lighting category brings together LED fixtures, control systems, timers and accessories designed to equip different types of aquariums. The choice of lighting must take into account the dimensions and depth of the tank, but also the needs of the plants and the type of setup desired.

Easy plants can develop under moderate intensity, while more demanding species generally require stronger, properly distributed light. The lighting duration should also be adjusted gradually in order to promote plant growth without excessively encouraging algae.
