ABOUT ALCHIMIA AQUATICS

A NEW CHAPTER

My name is Kilyan Mercier and I am the creator of Alchimia Aquatics, a young Swiss company born in Broc, in the canton of Fribourg.

At one point in my life, I had to make the decision to embark on a major professional turning point. I needed to find a path where I could listen to myself, but also refocus and feel at peace.

The aquarium hobby then presented itself as an obvious choice.

A REGAINED BALANCE

Creating an aquarium, maintaining it or simply taking the time to observe it helps me set aside the stress of everyday life and rediscover a form of inner peace that life sometimes puts to a hard test.

Around an aquarium, time seems to slow down. The movement of the water, the growth of the plants and the life that develops within create a world of its own, in which calm naturally regains its place.

The aquarium hobby taught me that balance does not mean that everything has to be perfect or motionless. An aquarium is constantly evolving and requires attention, patience and sometimes a few adjustments. The same is often true in life.

It is from this particular relationship with the aquarium hobby that Alchimia Aquatics was born.

MORE THAN A SHOP

Alchimia Aquatics is a Swiss shop dedicated to the aquarium hobby, but it also represents the beginning of a new professional and personal adventure.

Here I am gradually bringing together equipment, products, plants and accessories intended to support aquarists in creating and maintaining their own aquatic world.

I also develop my own creations and accessories through 3D modelling and 3D printing, with the desire to offer useful, original solutions designed from real, concrete needs.

A PASSION TO SHARE

Through Alchimia Aquatics, I want to share this passion and make the aquarium hobby more accessible and more human, notably through training courses and creative workshops that encourage learning, discovery and exchange between enthusiasts.

Every aquarium tells a different story. For some, it is a passion for fish and plants. For others, it is a space for creativity, for observation or simply a moment of calm in a sometimes hectic life.

Whatever the reason that led you to the aquarium hobby, I hope that Alchimia Aquatics can accompany you on this adventure.
