Aquarium plants occupy an essential place in creating a natural, balanced aquatic environment that is pleasant to observe. They contribute to oxygenating the water, absorb part of the available nutrients and provide fish as well as shrimp with areas for resting, refuge and exploration.

Alchimia Aquatics offers you a selection of plants for freshwater aquariums, chosen for their aesthetic qualities and their various uses. Foreground plants, species intended to form clusters, background plants, mosses, plants to attach to roots or stones: each one allows you to structure the layout and create a unique atmosphere.

Because not all plants have the same needs, our selection is organised into three levels: easy, intermediate and advanced plants. You can thus more easily choose the species suited to your experience, your lighting, your fertilisation and the possible presence of a CO₂ system.
