Anubias barteri var. nana 1-2-Grow! – Tropica
Robust and easy-care small aquarium plant, ideal for decorating rocks and roots. Slow growth, low light requirements and no essential CO₂ supply needed.
Description
Anubias barteri var. nana is a compact, robust and particularly easy-to-care-for aquarium plant. Thanks to its slow growth and low light requirements, it is perfectly suited to beginner aquarists as well as more elaborate aquascapes.
Its thick, deep-green leaves add depth and a natural touch to the decor. It can be attached to a rock, a root or another hardscape element using thread, a glue suitable for aquariums, or by gently wedging it into a crevice.
This plant is offered as an in vitro 1-2-Grow! culture in a sealed container. This cultivation method produces a healthy, clean plant, free of snails and unwanted algae.

Planting tips:
Gently remove the plant from the container, then carefully rinse off the nutrient gel with clean water. Separate the plant into several small portions before attaching them to the decor.
Never cover the rhizome with substrate: it must remain visible to prevent it from rotting. Only the fine roots may be placed in the substrate.
Care tips:
Anubias nana enjoys soft to moderate light. Its slow growth makes it undemanding, but its leaves can accumulate algae when placed under overly strong lighting. A slightly shaded area therefore suits it particularly well.
