Plants Intermediate

Intermediate aquarium plants are aimed at aquarists who want to go further in creating a rich and harmonious planted layout. They often offer more varied shapes, textures and colours, but also require more attention than the easiest species.

To develop properly, these plants may require sufficiently powerful lighting, regular fertilisation and more precise control of the water parameters. Depending on the species and the setup, CO₂ supplementation can also improve their growth, density and colouration.
