Leptodictyum riparium – Tropica 1-2-Grow! in vitro
Easy aquarium moss with a fine, upright habit, ideal for greening roots and rocks. Its vertical growth adds relief to aquascapes and offers an excellent refuge for shrimp and fry.
Description
Leptodictyum riparium, also called Stringy Moss, is an easy aquatic moss that stands out for its fine, upright and slightly transparent shoots. Its vertical growth allows a natural and original effect to be created, different from traditional carpeting mosses.
Undemanding, it adapts to most freshwater aquariums and is perfectly suited to beginners. It can be attached to a root, a rock or any other element of the decor using thread, a glue suitable for aquariums, or a moss mesh.

Strengths:
• Particularly decorative upright habit
• Attaches easily to roots and rocks
• Suitable for beginner aquarists
• Offers a natural refuge for shrimp and fry
• Tolerates various temperatures and lighting conditions
• Easy to propagate by division
• In vitro culture free of snails, algae and pesticides
Planting tips:
Gently remove the moss from its pot and carefully rinse off the nutrient gel with clean water. Divide it into several small portions, then attach them to a root or a rock.
A thin layer promotes better attachment and more regular growth. Occasionally trim the longest shoots to keep a compact shape and prevent the lower parts from lacking light.
The Tropica 1-2-Grow! culture is produced in a laboratory in a controlled environment. It is therefore particularly suited to aquariums housing shrimp and other sensitive animals.
