Söchting Oxydator Mini – Oxygenation without electricity
Continuously supplies oxygen to the aquarium without a pump, without electricity and without noise. Ideal for nano aquariums and tanks up to 60 litres.
Söchting Oxydator Mini
The Söchting Oxydator Mini continuously supplies pure, activated oxygen to the aquarium water. Its operation requires neither a pump, nor an electric cable, nor a connection: it is completely silent and particularly suited to nano aquariums, shrimp tanks and small planted aquariums.
Unlike a traditional air pump, the Oxydator does not create a strong water current and limits the outgassing of the CO₂ useful to plants. The oxygen produced dissolves directly in the water and helps maintain a stable environment for fish, shrimp, snails and the filter bacteria.
Main advantages:
• Continuous oxygen supply in the aquarium
• Operation without electricity and without a pump
• Completely silent
• Does not expel CO₂ needlessly
• Supports the biological activity of the filter
• Helps limit oxygen-poor zones
• Ideal during periods of high heat
• Suitable for fish, shrimp, snails and plants
Recommended capacity:
• 1 catalyst: aquarium up to about 30 litres
• 2 catalysts: aquarium up to about 60 litres
The diffusion rate depends in particular on the water temperature, the concentration of the solution and the number of catalysts used.
Installation:
Fill the glass container with the appropriate Oxydator solution. Place the catalyst(s) in the container according to the aquarium volume, close it, then turn it over into its ceramic holder.
Then install the Oxydator vertically on the aquarium floor, in an area where the water can circulate freely around the device. Regularly check the solution level and refill when it is used up.
Kit contents:
• 1 glass container
• 1 ceramic holder
• 2 catalysts
• Oxydator solution for first use
• Instructions for use
Important:
Use only a solution suitable for Söchting Oxydators. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and keep the solution out of the reach of children. The Oxydator is a supplementary oxygenation and does not replace a filtration adapted to the volume and population of the aquarium.
