JBL ProAquaTest NO3 – Nitrate test for aquariums
Precise drop test to measure the nitrate concentration (NO3) in fresh water or sea water. Available as a complete kit or as a reagent refill.
JBL ProAquaTest NO3 allows you to measure precisely the nitrate concentration in the aquarium water. Monitoring NO3 helps control water quality, track the nutrients available to the plants and identify a possible cause of algae growth.
This test is suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums. Its comparator system takes into account the natural colouration of the water to make the reading of the result on the colour scale more reliable.

Complete kit
The complete kit contains the material needed to carry out around 40 measurements:
• Reagents for the NO3 test
• Two glass test tubes with caps
• Syringe
• Measuring spoon
• Comparator block
• Colour scale
Refill
The refill contains the reagents needed to continue using the JBL ProAquaTest NO3 test. It is intended for users who already own the test tubes, the comparator block, the measuring spoon and the colour scale from the complete kit.

Directions for use:
Carry out the test once a week while starting up an aquarium, then regularly as part of monitoring water quality. A measurement is also recommended in the event of an algae bloom, after a significant intervention in the aquarium or when plant growth appears out of balance.
Follow the JBL instructions carefully and observe the reagent quantities as well as the indicated reaction time.
Caution: the Refill variant contains only the reagents. The measuring equipment and the colour scale are required to use it.
