JBL ProAquaTest CombiSet Plus Fe – Aquarium Test Case
Complete, refillable case to check pH, KH, nitrites, nitrates and iron in a freshwater aquarium, with CO₂ estimation via a table.
The JBL PROAQUATEST CombiSet Plus Fe is a complete case designed to regularly check the main water parameters of a freshwater aquarium. It allows quick monitoring of the water quality, the aquarium's biological stability and plant fertilisation.
The case allows you to measure:
• pH from 3.0 to 10
• carbonate hardness KH
• nitrites NO₂
• nitrates NO₃
• iron content Fe
• the estimated CO₂ concentration using the supplied pH/KH table
Reliable, easy-to-read analyses
The JBL comparator system takes the natural colour of the water into account and makes comparison with the colour charts easier. The supplied syringe allows you to take the exact amount of water needed for each analysis.
The KH test is carried out by counting the drops until the colour changes. For the other parameters, simply add the indicated reagents and then compare the resulting colour with the corresponding chart.
Contents of the case:
• water-resistant storage case
• reagents for the various parameters
• three glass test tubes
• one plastic test tube
• sampling syringe
• measuring spoon
• comparator block
• colour charts
• CO₂ calculation table
• analysis-tracking sheets
• detailed instructions for use
Why check the water regularly?
Perfectly clear water can have values unsuitable for fish, shrimp or plants. Regular checking makes it possible to detect a rise in nitrites, monitor nitrates, verify pH stability and adjust iron fertilisation.
The case is particularly suited to planted aquariums, aquascapes as well as the everyday monitoring of freshwater community aquariums.
The reagents can be replaced individually thanks to the JBL PROAQUATEST refills available separately.
Usage tips:
Follow the quantities, reaction times and instructions indicated in the instructions for use. Rinse the test tubes thoroughly with clean water after each analysis.
Keep the reagents out of reach of children and follow the safety instructions shown on their packaging.
