Dennerle Carbo Bio Start 80 is a biological CO₂ fertilisation system designed for freshwater aquariums up to 80 litres.
Carbon is one of the essential nutrients for the growth of aquatic plants. This kit gradually releases CO₂ into the aquarium to support plant development and encourage more intense colours.
Simple to set up, the system requires neither a pressurised bottle nor a power supply. Biological CO₂ production generally begins between 24 and 48 hours after activation.
The kit includes two bio CO₂ refills, each providing at least 40 days of production, for a total minimum runtime of 2 × 40 days.

Setup:
Install the system in accordance with the instructions, add the activator and connect the hose to the diffuser placed in the aquarium. CO₂ production generally starts after 24 to 48 hours.
Usage tips:
Place the CO₂ reservoirs next to the aquarium and not in a cabinet located beneath it. Biological production does not develop enough pressure to make up for a significant difference in height.
The intensity of the fermentation may vary depending on the ambient temperature. Regularly monitor plant growth and the balance of the aquarium.
