JBL ProScape Mg + Macroelements 250 ml – Magnesium Fertiliser
Concentrated liquid magnesium fertiliser for planted aquariums and aquascaping. It promotes healthy growth and helps prevent magnesium deficiencies.
JBL ProScape Mg + Macroelements is a supplementary fertiliser specially designed to supply aquarium plants with magnesium.
Magnesium is essential for the formation of chlorophyll and the development of aquatic plants. An insufficient concentration can in particular cause the leaves to lighten or turn yellow.
This fertiliser makes it possible to precisely adjust the magnesium content in heavily planted aquariums, aquascapes and setups benefiting from powerful lighting or CO₂ injection.

Indicative dosage
The dosage depends on the light intensity, the CO₂ supply, the amount of plants and their consumption.
• Strongly lit aquarium with CO₂ injection: up to 6 ml per 100 litres per day
• Weakly lit aquarium without CO₂ injection: about 2 ml per 100 litres per week
Gradually adjust the dosage to the real needs of the aquarium. A magnesium concentration between 5 and 10 mg/l is a guide value for many planted aquariums.
Usage tip
Regularly check the magnesium concentration before changing the dosage. To maintain balanced fertilisation, also monitor iron, potassium, nitrates, phosphates and CO₂.
