JBL ProScape Volcano Mineral – Volcanic substrate layer 3 L / 9 L
Porous volcanic base layer to create a stable, aerated and mineral foundation beneath the substrate of planted aquariums and aquascapes.
JBL ProScape Volcano Mineral is a mineral base layer made of volcanic rock, specially designed for planted aquariums and aquascaping. Its porous structure forms a stable base beneath the substrate and makes it easier to create lasting contours.
The many cavities of the volcanic rock promote the circulation of water and oxygen in the substrate. They also offer a large colonisation surface for beneficial bacteria and thus contribute to the proper biological function of the substrate.

Directions for use:
Spread a layer of about 2 to 4 cm of JBL ProScape Volcano Mineral over the aquarium floor. Then shape the desired contours and cover the volcanic rock with a substrate suitable for plants.
Rinse lightly if necessary before use. Set the stones and roots stably before covering the base layer.
Caution:
JBL ProScape Volcano Mineral is intended for use as a base layer and not as a final decorative substrate. It is not recommended to combine it directly with JBL Sansibar, whose fine grains can penetrate the volcanic structure. Prefer a compatible substrate, such as a technical soil for planted aquariums.
